Oxidized Technology For Metal Structured Packing


Oxidized technology for metal structured packing


oxidized technology is to have the metal packing/ring oxidized. 


After the oxidizing process, the packing has a water-holding rate increased, there will be oxygen atoms attached to the surface of the metal. The oxygen atoms are hydrophilic, so the water holding rate will increase, it is also known as the film rate, which increases the mass transit time in the Distillation process, thereby the efficiency is improved.


The below photo shows the difference between oxidized and after oxidized.


Currently, we are able to have structured packing, metal structured packing，Dixon ring, and other metal random packings oxidized.
